1) Consider what type of kilt you are looking for.  Will your primary purpose be Fairs and Festivals, or will you be attending more dress occasions?  The Acrylic kilts tend to be better suited for Fairs and Festivals and for those new to wearing a kilt because they are less expensive and in some situations and environments, cooler.  Our wool blend kilts are perfect for the Dress occasion in your life like weddings and other formal events. These kilts tend to hold a pleat better and have a more "crisp" look for that formal event.
